Thank you for taking the time to visit my Teaching Portfolio Site.  I am an Art Teacher certified kindergarten through 12th grade.  In 2007 I graduated from the University of Kansas.  Before I had even finished my internship I was recruited and hired by the prestigious Shawnee Mission School Districts, one of the best districts in the Kansas City Metro Area and in the state of Kansas.  Under my direction the art department has thrived, with a strong core  curriculum many special programs.  I have funded many of these programs with variety of grants that I personally wrote.  Please explore this webpage and discover how my passion for teaching and the arts creates a high level of learning for my students, and enriches my school as a whole.
